Our Lord Jesus Christ was our ultimate example of such humility and love. He was despised, rejected and tortured, partly due to the jealousy that lived in the hearts of the religious leaders. He had the greatest power in the universe at His command, but yet, He humbled Himself unto death by crucifixion. He was true to the only agenda that mattered—the agenda of God.
